As was earlier posted, the problems at UMaine will be investigated bythe
UM chancellor. What was not posted or written in the AP story is that
it was discovered Friday that AD Mike Ploszek was registered in and taking
3 post-grad courses, enough to be considered a full-time student (and btw,
enough to make him eligible by NC$$ standards...) Ploszek withdrew from
these courses while he was on "investigatory leave" earlier this month.
Is it just me, or does it seem strange that an AD has enough "free time"
on his hands to basically enroll on a full-time basis?
