Regionals begin today and once again include the Michigan Wolverines.  I 
couldn't help but get teary-eyed in anticipation of what I've really 
missed these past couple years after 23 consecutive post-seasons of 
enjoyment.  But, overcome by mere anticipation of the 5:30 puck drop, I 
almost blew it completely.

I'd forgotten I changed my email address a couple years ago and hadn't 
updated it with Hockey-L.  Had I not hastily found the website and 
submitted a new subscription request and then resubmitted it to change 
"Boob Griebel" to "Bob Griebel", all the Wolverine's hard work 
throughout the season and even a possible first round win couldn't have 
made it seem like traditional old times.  I would still have missed the 
bitchin' and complaining about the Michigan Band's persistent, 
incessant, ceaseless, constant, unabating, endless, eternal, 
unrelenting, repetitive, nonstop, perpetual blasting of THE VICTORs over 
and over and over and over and . . . .  So, pleeez folks, for old times' 
sake, let it rip!!!
