I don't have the time (or the typing skills) to post an entire game
summay, but I ust admit the second period was one of the strangest that
I have seen in college hockey.

It started with both teams having four players in the penalty boxes.
Within a minute that changed to five per side as Wisonsin's Williams
and Tech's Hill were both called for five minute majors for slashing.
I have never seen this before and am a bit curious about the result.
Even though there were a couple of stopagaes of play after the five
minutes were up, the players stayed in the penalty box until more than
seven minutes after the majors were assessed. The paper does not
record ny minors which were alos given out, so I was wondering if there
is some rule that I am unaware of dealing with this situation. It
seemed to take the refs a couple of stopages to figure everything out, so
I kinda wonder what was going on.

Anyway, the second period continued to be full of penalties, and my guess
is that it was only around a minute (and most likely no more than 2) that
neither team had at least one player in the penalty box. I was wondering
if any one else remembers a game like this. I am also curious as to the
implications it will have on tonights matchup.
