I agree 100% with Eric. I was just checking out how Penn State made
it to the ACHA National Tournament, ie.- they outscored their
opponents 280-67?!?!, went 30-0-0, destroyed Maryland 15-2 in the
Atlantic League Semis, and annilhated Rhode Island 17-1 in the
Finals. It makes one wonder...
In the ACHA National Tournament, the Championship Trophy should be
given to Penn State before any games are played (they'll win it
anyways, won't they???), then just play the games to decide 2nd
through 8th.
I have a couple of suggestions of what to do to make the teams
that Penn State plays more competitive.
1. As Eric said above, move them to Division I.
2. Force Penn State to Ice (no pun intended) two teams, so as to
water down their talent/power/... a little.
Or, (I know it's a little more drastic)...
3. Move them all to Orange County and the NHL, and call them the
Mighty Ducks.
