This one is actually pretty easy, winning percentage is your number of wins
divided by total games, in this scenario a tie would count as only HALF of a win
another way to think about it is by points number of points divided by total
possible points.  Both cases give you the same results.
EXAMPLE:
record -  4-0-2
(1) 5 wins / 6 games or 0.833
(2) 10 points / 12 total points or 0.833
