    I don't thnk I can agree with this statement.  Look at the attendance
     figures for the JOE since it opened, and has hosted the GLI (Great lakes
        Invi) tournament.  The place has been jammed to the rafters everytime.
        (I know, I got a noosebleed in the early eighties, top row center ice!)
          Sorry I don't have the numbers, but if it still isnt, it did hold the
          record for attendence at a college hockey event. (bradley center may
          overtake that this spring)
          College Hockey has more than enough fans in the Detroit area. I think
           as stated earlier, there was too much going on too close together.
            I think you'll see a rebound in attendance at the JOE this season.
