Doesn't Ford Field have a retractable roof? If not, then Wisconsin would be
the only team with outdoor experience in the Frozen Four (beat Michigan 2-1
in an excruciatingly boring game - except for the last 2 minutes). On Friday
and Saturday at 1:00 PM both days, the Detroit Tigers play next door vs
Cleveland, but Friday is opening day.

I am wondering how much attention has been paid to making sure there is ice
that meets the standard of frozen four ice at Ford Field. Has there ever
been an ice sheet there before this? The weather forecasts show much above
average temperatures and we all know what that can mean. Here is a link to
an updated long run forecast.
