I presume you have the same package I got with Verizon FIOS in RI.
 You should check out the Fox Sports Channels for hockey from Michigan,
Wisconsin, Denver, North Dakota and Minnesota. There are also games on ESPNU
(watched BC vs. UVM on Sunday night), Hockey East games on NESN when there
are no conflicts with Bruins or Celtics, week end games on CBS College
Sports (formerly CSTV),  and a few games on the NHL network.  Not sure if
Comcast carries the Big Ten sports network but FIOS does and I believe they
will start carrying games between Big Ten teams later this year.

As you found out, you can't believe them when it says live on the screen but
you should be able to use a composite schedule from USCHO to tell which
games are live and which are rebroadcasts.
