I could see x minutes of 5x5, y minutes of 4x4 and z minutes of 3x3 if you
had to have a winner. At least those are game situations and the players have
prepared for them. I might be convinced also that alternating power plays
would be better than shootouts as long as each team has an equal number of
man advantages.
