The Brown Bears scored four powerplay goals, three in the second period,
to stay undefeated in January and earn their third consecutive win in a
non-conference game against the Holy Cross Crusaders tonight at Meehan
Auditorium.

    Brown's leading scorer, sophomore Les Haggett, garnered three points (1
goal & two assists), while junior forward Brent Robinson also added three
points (1 goal & two assists).  Senior defenseman Paul Esdale and junior
defenseman Vince Macri scored two other goals with the man-advantage.
Junior netminder Yann Danis made 31 saves enroute to the Bears' eighth
victory of the season.

    Brown continues its string of four non-conference games by hosting Iona
College at Meehan next Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
