if michigan wins tomorrow, i'd throw my hands up in despair
if state wins I'd bracket as follows
in ann arbor in worcester
Maine Boston University
St Cloud Quinnipiac
Michigan State-----------------------Denver
|
|
Minnesota----------------------------New Hampshire
michigan Colorado College
cornell Harvard
The top 4 are unh denver gophers msu
Because i believe it is important not to have conference matchups,
i'd reorder the by seeds as unh denver msu gophers so that if
the favorites advance we don't get a rematch of the wcha championship
CC has to fly anyway, so i'd send them east. Now I need to send 2
teams west. Ithaca is 302 miles from worcester and 449 from ann
arbor, so that one makes sense. Then the only other reasonable choice
to go west would be maine.
The matchups this way are 1-8-12
2-5-11
3-9-10
4-6-7
seeding strictly by the numbers yields
UNH - (cc-cornell)
Denver - (st cloud - michigan)
gophers - (maine-quinnipiac)
msu - (bu-harvard)
