Quality postings absolutely outweigh quantity "your team stinks" Message
Board material found on USCHO. No slap against .com, however this group
loves college hockey, even if their team got knocked out in the first round.

Moreover, please refresh your memories to the absolute flame wars that great
contributors like Craig Lesko (sp)? and Jack Berenzweig (sp?) took from
people prior to the uscho.com message boards. Both got skewered and left
because of such harsh and unfair treatment. I would rather keep a small
civil dialogue than go back to those days.

Now living in Falls Church, VA, I look forward to the insight and nuggets
contained in Hockey-L posts-- write ups, antedotes, observations,
recruitment, scheduling or otherwise.

Finally, I look forward to most of all the Hockey-L dinners. As a bachelor,
it meant all the food I could eat for one price. Now as a Dad, it gives me
a way to teach my son about the game we all love, and show him how many fans
will travel as far away as Alaska, Colorado, Massachusetts, South Carolina
and even California to support the game.

When the BU goaltender (McKersie?) got hit by a car, this group sent cards.
Ditto for Travis Roy and Shawn Walsh as well as the two most recent coaches
befallen by cancer at Michigan Tech and Merrimack.

In short,I will take quality posts over quantity, especially when it comes
from such a passionate, caring group of ambassadors.

On to St. Paul!
