RPI defeated Iona College 3-1  at Houston Field House in Troy, NY.  The game was not nearly as close as the score makes it sound.  Iona goaltender Mike Fraser played a superb game for the Gaels and kept this from becoming a 7 or 8-1 rout.

RPI returns to ECAC league play next Saturday at home against Union
