The Huskies went 0-2 on the weekend losing tonight at the Mullins Center 4-2
to the Minutemen.

UMass went on top at 1:03 of the first on a goal by Craig MacDonald. His
second of the season. Assists went to Tim Turner and Greg Mauldin. The
Huskies came back with two of their own to lead at the end of one, 2-1. Jim
Fahey on a power play scored his seventh goal at 12:12. Mike Ryan scored his
5th at 15:08. Jason Guerriero and Willie Levesque assisted on both goals.
UMass scored two in the second; first at 04:11 on a power play by Thomas Pock
(2) from Toni Soderholm and Martin Miljko. Then Mauldin got his first
collegiate goal from MacDonald and Turner at 19:06.

Turner (3) scored into an empty net at 19:41 of the third from Jimmy Callahan
and Nick Kuiper.

Mike Gilhooly was in the Huskies net for the first two periods and had 9
saves on 12 shots. Jason Braun relieved in the third and was 8 for 8. Mike
Johnson was in the net for UMass and had 18 saves in the 20 shots.

Both teams had 5 penalties for 10 minutes and were 1 for 3 on the power play.
