As I sit here and watch the local news about the Gopher basketball problems, I wonder if any of it will spill over into the Gopher hockey program. One issue that the NCAA is looking at is the changing of a Gopher Hockey player's grade to let him remain academically eligible. I wonder what will happen with that. Probably nothing, but it technically is still wrong.

Then they go on to say that Haskins gave money to one of his players, which made me think back to when Woog gave money to one of his players. (Note: The money Woog gave was indirect.) What does this mean for the hockey program? Again, probably nothing.

Any thoughts on this?

You Might be a Minnesotan if....
You believe that bitter cold, a slippery surface and speed go together in both a sport and on the Interstate.
