I also would request removal from Hockey-L. The incredible lack of respect
for others seems to unfortunately remind me of a plate of Brussels sprouts.
 
 
John put what I thought into words.  Although the Spartan in me magnetically
begins to recoil at the thought of following a UM man, I believe his words
reflect my feelings as well.

Please remove me from Hockey-L.  I've enjoyed my
subscription over the past decade and have met
numerous enjoyable individuals whom I may not
have otherwise crossed paths with.  For this I am
most thankful.
 
Unfortunately, as we head toward a new millennium,
it appears that we, as a group, are far from being
technologically advanced enough to fend off the
numbing attacks of a monotonous, single-minded
beast from beyond (known to this list as Vicki Price).
I fear that our only recourse is to refrain from feeding
the beast, but even that may be too little too late.
 
Therefore, I leave this battle and my best wishes to
my brethren who have so elected to fight the good
fight here.  I'm off to channel my energies toward
other worthy causes in our universe.
