Put the back-up goalie in the box to serve the penalty, put the regular
goalie on the bench.  If you score, put the regular goalie back in and put
*another* player in with the back-up, as when a goalie serves a regular
major.  When the penalty expires, the additional player comes back into play
.  At the next stoppage, the back-up returns to the bench.  Simple.  ;-)
 
(Anticipated objection: It's probably not legal to, in effect, change the
man serving the penalty midway through it.)
