The Burlington Free Press reported that two seniors have announced that
they're leaving the UVM hockey team.  One of them is defenseman Roomet; the
other is a forward whose name escapes me.  They both started last year (for
the first time on a regular basis)  as juniors, so they're not exactly stars
on the team.  However, Roomet's departure leaves UVM with only 7 defensemen
on the roster, one of whom is a freshman recovering from a broken wrist.  It
sounds as though they'll be starting the season dangerously thin at defense.
 
Both players cited lack of playing time, which is ironic, 'cause they're not
going to get ANY now.....
