Brad Timmons is a transfer from Northern Michigan, who sat out last season.
 
Chris Locker was Dave Spehar's linemate at Duluth East.  In 1996-97 he played
six games of major junior at Sarnia and Seattle of the WHL, and also played for
the Rochester Mustangs of the USHL.  In 1997-98 he sat out his Prop 48 year
while attending classes at the University of Minnesota.  He will start for the
Gophers as a junior in 1998-99, but must sit out the first six games of the
season to make up for his six major junior games.
