"Pssst: They won't admit it, but word is St. Cloud State and North Dakota
are the schools opposed to Mankato State and Nebraska-Omaha entering the
Western Collegiate Hockey Association within a few years. Minnesota favors
admitting Mankato State for 1999 and Omaha-Nebraska for 2000. Three
negative votes among the WCHA's nine schools can block expansion."
