Does the league review tapes of the games for statistical purposes? If so,
it should be noted that O'Connell didn't touch Kelleher's shot; they showed
the replay on FOXNE a few times and the broadcasters agreed that it was all
Kelleher.

Whoever winds up with the stat, Albie played fantastically in a wild
end-to-end shootout between these two. It's nice to see Ron Anderson's
career (at Merrimack) extended just a little bit.

Gotta say that the BU defense looked a bit shaky, and the Merrimack players
were more than ready to skate and shoot into the holes that were opened up.
Laroque also was a bit shaky, letting in a few goals that he'd normally
stop -- this was only the second time in his career he's allowed 5 goals,
the other time against the Sioux in the national championship last year.

As for the Hobey watch, Drury played quite well (goal and an assist),
although he did pull a bonehead move by pulling a stupid penalty in hitting
after the whistle -- giving Merrimack a power play on which they scored.
Interesting stat there -- Drury actually leads the Terriers in penalty
minutes. However, he was as usual playing both ends of the ice, and often
drew two and three Merrimack players when he controlled the puck. he also
showed off some great stickhandling and skating killing off a few of the
Warrior power plays.

Sunday's game should be interesting; the announcers repeatedly commented on
Merrimack only using mostly their 1st and 2nd lines and ome of their 3rd,
but mever going deeper. Three nights in a row against any team is pretty
tough when you don't play deep on your bench; three nights against BU might
just be too much.

Since BU dropped football, does that mean Silber fumbled?
Real grass at Nickerson for the *real* football! Yippee!
