     Michigan Tech pulled off their second victory of the season
against Alaska-Fairbanks in a non-conference game last night.  The
final score was 6-2.  They host Alaska again tonight at 7:05pm EST.
Both of Tech's victories have ended up 6-2, I wonder, is this an omen???
 
Some cute things that the band decided to do last night:
 
Alaska wears blue jersies, so when they would commit a foul the band
would start to chant:  "Put the Smurf in Jail, Put the Smurf in Jail..."
 
We now have a new spirit section called the "Dog Pound" and every so
often the band would start to bark and howl for no appearent reason.
 (Well, I guess you had to be there :)
