One correction to a previous post.  The Orange Line does not connect North
Station (Fleet Center) and South Station (throw a few billion more into the
big dig and we will get that connection - but that's a discussion for
another list).  The Red Line goes through South Station and does not go
directly to the Fleet.  I believe the writer meant to say the Orange Line
connects Back Bay Station (where commuter and Amtrak from the South stop on
the way to South Station) to the Fleet.  It is a pretty short ride on the T
from BB to the Fleet.
