ECAC/Bauer Player of the Week
Jeff Halpern (Princeton)
Junior, Center (Potomac, Maryland)
Halpern helped Princeton go unbeaten on the week with a 2-0-1 mark
as he tallied four goals and had four assists in the three games. He
netted a hat trick in a 4-4 tie with Providence and has a goal and three
assists in a 9-3 win over Army.
ECAC/Bauer Rookie of the Week
Steve Moore (Harvard)
Center (Thornhill, Ontario)
Moore helped Harvard defeat Brown in the leagues lone conference
game as he tallied two of the Crimson's five goals in a 5-3 road victory.
The goals were Moore's first two of his career.
ECAC/Heaton Goaltenders of the Week
Chris Bernard (Clarkson)
Senior (Brasher Falls, New York)
Bernard made his first career start and posted 24 saves to carry
Clarkson to a 4-3 win over eighth-ranked Boston College. He had played
just 12:33 in parts of three games prior to the start as he has served as
Dan Murphy's back-up for the past three seasons.
James Tierney (Vermont)
Senior (Hoffman Estates, Illinois)
Tierney returned from a back injury to post his first career win
between the pipes with a 32-save 4-0 shutout over UMass-Lowell. He had
started the first two games of the season for the Catamounts and missed
the next nine with the injury.
