ECAC/Bauer Player of the Week
 
Alain St. Hilaire (Rensselaer)
Junior, Forward (Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec)
        The ECAC league leading scorer tallied three goals and six assists
for a nine-point weekend.  He netted a hat trick, including the
game-winning goal, and two assists in a 7-1 win over Dartmouth and then
came back the next night and assisted on four goals, including the
game-winner, in a 7-2 win over Vermont.  He had a hand in nine of the
Engineers9 14 goals over the weekend.
 
ECAC/Bauer Rookie of the Week
 
Alex Todd, Union
Defenseman (Rice Lake, Wisconsin)
        Todd tallied his first colleigate goal, the only goal of the game,
in a 1-0 win over Vermont.  Todd9s score at the 11:42 mark of the first
period gave the Skating Dutchmen their first win of the season.
 
ECAC/Heaton Goaltender of the Week
 
Alex Westlund (Yale)
Junior (Flemington Villiage, New Jersey)
        Westlund kicked aside 58 of the 59 shots he faced over the weekend
and led the Bulldogs to their first 2-0 ECAC start since the 1992-93
season.  He held Clarkson to one goal in a 2-1 victory and made 25 saves
in a 3-0 shutout of St. Lawrence.  He has now allowed just two goals in
three games this season.
