This year I've been posting the complete box scores for CC's home games to
info-hockey-l (with the exception of my "oops" friday night :)) because
I'm doing work with the SID and my job is to type up the box that gets
printed out and faxed to everyone. So all I have to do is stick in a
floppy and copy it so I can just upload and send when I get home, without
having to retype it.
 
As merely a spectator, I would try to remember who all scored and the
approximate time, but I don't usually bring pen and paper with me. Away
games are difficult in that you're dependent on the announcers to provide
you with all the info, and I'll sometimes take notes on the scorers if I'm
sitting at home, but not the penalties unless it's something major.
