Well said, Tom. I'd also like to add a few things
if I may.
 
The first one is a plea ...
 
I for one would appreciate it if people would
recognize one of the basic "netiquette" rules.
When replying to posts, don't quote the whole
original post if you're only going to add one line
at the end. Its incredibly annoying to scroll
through a post you've read once just to see one
little remark at the end.
 
Secondly, I'd like to reiterate ehat Wayne Smith
said. I often laugh when I see a thread like this
one because it seems obvious to me that if this
energy was devoted to posting content, we wouldn't
be having this discussion.
 
As to scores, I for one am guilty of not posting
scores to INFO-HOCKEY-L anymore because the WWW
has them ... and I post my summary to NECHI. But,
I'll repost the summary here and try to remember
to post the score on INFO. I, too, used to rely
solely on these lists for most of my college
hockey info.
 
Now, if everyone compiles a post (even a short
one) this week, we won't have a need for content.
