I showed up at Union during the '93-'94 season. That was the year where
the core of the team was freshmen - a few of them in their early 20s.
There was a lot of talk about them being older than the prototypical
freshman, prompting some to believe that their junior-league experience
helped them with the late-season run.
 
I'm not sure if that's the year you're thinking of (it was Union's 3rd
in Division I), but that group actually lasted 4 years - finishing this
past year. They're all too long to list (off the top of my head, at least),
but they included the likes of Andrew Will, Chris Ford, Russ Monteith,
John Sicinski, Jay Prentice, Ryan Donovan, etc, etc, etc...
