My cousin (who works at Cornell and has had season tickets since '69) said
that the faculty advisor for the hockey team, Prof. German, said that
Schafer has a lead on a good (not great) goalie from Ontario who would be
willing to come to Cornell as a backup.  I haven't heard the name of the
goalie, nor which team he played for, but he supposedly has good enough
grades to get into Cornell.
 
Whether the admissions office will let him in for this fall is another
story.....
