HockeyEast fared pretty well in the selection of
invitees for the US Juniors. Nearly one-third (13
out of 44) are from the league with BC clearly
leading the pack with 7 invitees alone.
 
I'm wondering where the players from the US
National Development Program will fit in. Are any
of them old enough to play? It seems if the
intention for this program is to field an Under-18
team ( as well as an Under-17 team ), then there
must be some qualified talent. The whole program
will be in Lake Placid for the tryouts according
to their scheduled date of "National Junior
Festival; Lake Placid, Aug 9-19"
