Get the tough ones out of the way ...

That must've been Maine and UNH's policies when scheduling next
season's games. On 2/1/98, the two play eachother, thereby leaving
what appears to be 8 and 9 game breezes to finish the season.

After the game, Maine will have 8 games to play ... 3 against
Northeastern, 3 against Amherst and 2 against UNO.

UNH's schedule will be a bit tougher, but smoth nonetheless. It'll be 2
against Northeastern, 3 against Amherst, 3 against Providence (could
indeed be formidable ) and 1 against Lowell.

Both school's have some pretty tough non-conference foes (Maine with
the edge) so the season will certainly seem to wind down nicely for the
playoffs ... leaving the players well-rested.

Of course, in Div. 1 hockey, every opponent can prove to be
troublesome on any given night, but it doesn't appear that there'll be much
room to improve these teams RPI ratings significantly after 2/1/98.
