FYI,
 
I recently received a post card confirming the receipt of my ticket
application for the championship next April.  About the same time, I
received my latest credit card bill, & they charged my account for the
tickets.  So, I called the number on the post card for details.  The woman
I spoke with said that all orders received to date have been entered into
their system, & they'll probably begin printing/mailing tickets in the next
couple months (they're waiting for custom ticket stock from the NCAA).  The
post card says tickets will be mailed by 12/31/97, but assuming they get
the ticket stock when expected, the tickets should be out much sooner.  She
also told me that seat selections have not yet been made, but the seats
will be assigned in the order that the ticket orders were received (as
expected).
 
So, if you've placed an order, be on the lookout for a blue post card...
