First off, Paul should get an award for having enough guts to post his
poll to the group.  Needless to say, his picks did catch me off guard.
As far as the WCHA goes:
 
UND #9?  I can't agree with this at all.  Ths Sioux lost 3 regular
players and a back-up goaltender.  The big guns were the sophmores for
the most part.  Furthermore, several of the recruits are supposed to be
VERY talented.  I would place UND in the top 4.
 
 
UM #5?  Can't really disagree with you, although I think UM will prove to
be better than last years team and will probably end up being #2 in the
WCHA.
 
DU #6?  I would probably place them closer to #9 at the moment, although
it sounds like they have a strong group coming in this year.
 
Other WCHA teams?
At the moment, I would agree with these three being the only ones in the
top 10 (although, I can't say that I have done an exhaustive amount of
research on all of the teams yet).
 
Personally, I am going with Mankato State #1  ;-)
