I cannot question the fact that Walsh is a good (I think great is a stretch)
coach.  However, you're making it sound like he works with nothing to develop a
great team.  If you want to find some teams that truly work with "nothing" or
little, go to Union, Merrimack, or Princeton.  Maine is a nationally recognized
program and thus they are in competition for the best players in the crop.
Walsh is indeed an asset to Maine, but his antics are beginning to outweigh his
value.  Also, where does one get the idea that most of Maine's revenue is from
hockey (try tuition maybe).  Hockey is not a very profitable sport; it becomes
more profitable at some schools if the team does well (alumni donations), but
it still is not extremely profitable (like football or basketball).

There we go with the "Maine Attitude" win at all costs, which got them in
trouble in the first place.  I know the Maine people will say he was the
scapegoat, but come on people, does he lay on the lies so thick up there
that no one can see it....He is a disgrace to the University, the state,
and college hockey....
