First Period-
Morrison scores first goal within the first minute of play. Bill Muckalt
scores on a breakaway, followed by Botterill minutes later.
 
Second Period-
The Top-ranked Wolverines score two quick goals to bring score up to 5-0.
Gophers score in a 4 on 4 situation. Crozier scores midway through 2nd.
 
Third Period-
Minnesota cuts Michigan's lead to 3, but it is too little, too late.
