Keep in mind that there are two types of "odds:" The first kind is similar
to what you see in the newspaper every morning for college football and
basketball and are often listed as "lines" -- what team is favored to win,
by how many points. This changes throughout the week leading up to the
game, depending on injuries, trades, and other factors.

The other kind of odds, and the odds that I'm assuming are the ones posted
here, are set not only by the sports books in Vega$, but also by the amount
of "action" with each team. If hundreds of people began betting on Cornell,
the "odds" on Cornell to win it all would drop. This mainly happens so that
Vega$ can cover its butt should Cornell actually hoist the trophy.
