Cornell does not often play consecutive games against opponents with a
winning record vs. the Big Red. Only a handful of programs have a winning
record against Cornell, and several of them (Williams, 12-1 against the Big
Red most prominently) are no longer potential opponents.

However, last year the Big Red finished their year by playing 3 consecutive
teams with winning records against them at the time (Clarkson, 38-29-8;
Harvard, 46-42-5; and Lake Superior, 1-0).

THIS YEAR Cornell is finishing it's year with an even longer streak against
such opposition. The streak is currently four games, the NCAA First Round
will make it five. If they advance to play North Dakota, against whom
Cornell IS .500, and the streak of begins to stretch to record proportions.

Cornell's record vs. other teams in NCAA tourny:

Michigan, 2-3-1
North Dakota, 1-1
Miami, 0-2
Minnesota, 0-1
Michigan State, 1-2
Clarkson, 31-40-8
Boston University, 19-16-1
Vermont, 21-11-6
New Hampster, 10-9
Colorado College, 2-1
Denver, 4-4

Collective, 91-90-19

All other Div. I programs against whom Cornell is .500 or below:

Army, 14-15-1
BGSU, 1-3
Lake Superior, 0-2
Michigan Tech, 1-1
NMU, 2-2
Notre Dame, 0-3
OSU, 1-2
Wisconsin, 1-3
