I'd have to agree with the strongest ECAC rivalry being Clarkson vs. SLU.
After all, I can't think of any other rivalry where the local theater
(Canton) posts such welcoming messages as "Kill Clarkson" on its marquee
when the Clarkson hockey team comes to town.  Though, I have to admit that
as a Clarkson fan and pep band member it was quite funny to watch the slogans
diminish in the last few years as we repeatedly beat SLU at Appleton (I
believe it went from "Kill Clarkson" to "Beat Clarkson" to nothing at all).
Most visiting teams got a nice warm welcome message, but I've yet to see
one for Clarkson. :-)
