  But apparently they (i.e., the NC$$) did, as was reported in a number of
newspaper accounts of the incident/infraction.  I'm no NC$$ rules expert;
my concern is only that the rules are applied fairly and equitably across
the board.  Past incidents where ineligible players have participated in
games have led to post hoc forfeiture of those games when the infraction
became known.  Should this incident be treated the same ??  I don't know;
I'm only suggesting that precedents exist for forfeits in this instance.
