None of the mail I have read about NESN dropping HE broadcasts mentions
anyrthing like a campaign to get them to change their minds. Maybe their minds
are beyond changing at this point, but if even if only 25% of the combined
student body and/or alumni populations of the HE schools contacted NESN to voice
their concerns, their marketing types are defintely going to see a potential
major loss of revenue. I am defintely not advocating anyone spam NESN, which
would be stupidly counterproductive, but current student subscribers to this
list could post a message to their fellow students advertising a HE/NESN
advocacy campaign. Messages to NESN should definitely be short (4 lines max) to
be effective, and original -- don't repeat what 1000 other students are using
for their message. Anyway, you can contact NESN via their web page at:

        www.nesn.com

from here click on "The NESN Lineup", followed by "Talk to Us" and away you
go....gently does it. Or email them directly at:

Or you can snail mail them at
        NESN
        70 Brookline Avenue
        Fenway Park
        Boston MA 02215

BTW, if anybody thinks this is a dumb idea, don't be afraid to sound off. I can
always claim it sounded like a good idea (to me at least) at the time, and I've
got a thick skin.
