(If anyone from Primestar is out there reading this, you could slip me
a few bucks for the following testimonial)

I weighed the dish options pretty seriously before settling on Primestar;
DSS didn't have Midwest Sports Channel, C-Band is just way to big and
ugly for me (or my neighbors) plus very costly. Primestar worked out to be
similar in cost to cable (150 for Primestar installation on a special, plus
saving 22 a month for the first three months of programming - effectively
negating the difference in cable installation). Primestar gives me MSC,
NESN, PASS and Prime (now Fox I take it?) Midwest. Last night I taped
Colorado/Denver while I was at Harvard/Colgate. When I came home, Bowling
Green/Ferris State was on the tube -- am I in heaven or what? Never mind
the mind-numbing volume of pro games during the week, including AHL and
IHL. If only there were a parallel universe where I had time to watch it
all.

I did go through some hairy installation moments ("No, you can't put it
in my front yard"), but wound up with the dish in a fairly inconspicuous
spot. Before you call them up, it has to be pointed at about 240 degrees and
have approximately a 30 degree angle to the horizon.
