In lieu of having a "Midnight Madness" this fall, the UMass-Lowell people
have decided to have a "Riverhawk Madness" event Tuesday evening, Oct 22.
 This is the week of the season-opening series with arch-rival
UMass-Amherst.
 
The event is at the Tully Forum and is from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. It includes
an open skate with the team, shooting contests with the players, 30th
anniversary commemorative posters and schedule cards, 50 cent pizza
slices, autographs and prizes.
 
Also, the first Riverhawk luncheon of the season is scheduled for Oct 25
at noon in the "Fox Den" on the Lowell campus.
 
UMass-Lowell opens with an exhibition game tonight against Concordia.
