We haven't yet seen if everyone will stay for sure, but I've got to think
that Michigan is the overwhelming favorite for the regular season CCHA title.
They're tentatively slated to only lose 2 1/2 key players from last year's
squad (Halko, Hilton and Sakala's second half). Everyone else in the league
has some serious question marks.

Can Lake State replace Keith Aldridge and Jeff Jackson?

Can MSU replace Anson Carter and find some defense?

Is the real Marc Magliarditi the good one that played towrads the end of the
season or the Hobey Baker winner that played at the beginning? And can
anyone in Kalamazoo score?

Is Bowling Green ready to take not the one step forward to become a top four
team but the two steps forward to challenge for the title?

Can OSU continue to progress?

Can Notre Dame start to?

Did George Gwozdecky's departure completely destroy Miami?

Can Fairbanks put itself back on the map in the league or was last year more
than just a disappointing blip?

Does Ferris follow UIC in the near future?

So, yes, there are is going to be a very interesting year in the CCHA. But I
think that they'll all be sorting out spots 2-10.

(I had a legal name change as of yesterday. What can I say, I was tired of
introducing myself as Michael Jackson.)
