This mornings Wisconsin State Journal had a column by Bill Brophy
that also mentioned the 3 division proposal for the WCHA.

He also mentioned Rick Comleys comments to a Detroit newspaper
about Northern Michigan jumping over to the CCHA. It would give
Northern more visibility in the Detroit market and help decreasing
enrollment at the school. Privately he feels that an interlocking
schedule between the two leagues is still a good idea. The
interlocking schedule is one of the plans being considered.

UW assistant coaches Pat Ford and Mike Kemp, UW-River Falls coach
Dean Talafous, and former UW all-American Mike Eaves are among 35
applicants for the UAA head coaching position.

Next seasons Badger Showdown (Dec 28-29) will have Colorado College
and Vermont playing each other again in the first round. Wisconsin
will play New Hampshire in the other game.
