I was very amused by Dr. Silber between periods. I think it is safe to say
that most people consider the guy a total jerk. Alita Haytayan is the
reporter who handled herself very well under the circumstances. She proved
herself a true professional. And Bertagna's comment had me fall off my
chair laughing. In contrast, NU's president (forgot his name) was a very
gracious guest between 2 periods, especially considering his team was down
11-3 at the time!

I too was surprised by all the calls early on. I have to admit (biased BU
glasses on) that I had no idea why 2 penalties were called after the 1st. NU
goal. The first one was called before the goal, but I never saw the second
and none of the replays could find anything worthy of a call after the goal.
And they certainly had enough cameras.

I was also surprised that on BU's fourth goal, the ref hadn't blown the
whistle before LaChance was knocked into the goalie. It was just BU's night
I guess, because normally it seems the refs are quick to blow it dead when
the goalie has it and there is a lot of action on top of him. When it
happened I was afraid they would find a reason to wave off the goal.

I expected JP to get in the game at the start of the third. The only reason
I can think of that they didn't was that maybe Noble needed to make some
more saves to get his save percentage up to win the Eberly Award. Obviously
Veisor had no shot, but maybe Taylor was close enough that Parker wanted him
to leave him in to get it. I was glad to see that the third and fourth
lines got the bulk of the PT in the second half of the game.
