Clarkson took its annual trip to the capital district and came away with
four points (2 lucky, 2 earned) this weekend in contests with RPI and Union.

The Union game was a great game as Andy has already commented, and RPI
was more of a blowout after the first ten minutes of play. RPI really
controlled the first ten minutes and then CU took over. As Andy commented
the Pep Band did parade the flag around the arena..(the second time)..it
was also paraded around at the RPI Invy in December. A great gesture for all
the Clarkson Alums and fans that were in the area. Also of interest, somewhere
along the lines this weekend, Clarkson Junior Todd White scored his 100th
career college goal. Congratulations to Todd, and keep up the good work.

Finally, just a sidebar, but Clarkson was the only top 6 team in the ECAC
to pick up all four points this weekend. Current standings but SLU in first,
Vermont trailing by one point in second, and Clarkson trailing by three points
in third. Then its Cornell, Colgate and Harvard rounding out the top six.
The top four teams are separated by only four points. Should make for a
real interesting last six games.

Next weekend at home vs. Princeton and Yale.
