Just a couple of thoughts on some recent threads:

1.  Canadians playing hockey at U.S. Colleges -- Jeff Foxworthy is
already paid well for "redneck" humor.
 
2.  A discussion of academics having priority over athletics would
probably have more credibility if there weren't quite so many poorly
constructed sentences and typos in the messages.

3.  Theory on Mankato State's new coach -- If Don Brose retires from
coaching, I'll go out on the limb that says that Don Amiot (Mankato
State AD) will hire Mark Mazzoleni away from Miami of Ohio.  (There are
those who might remember that Amiot was AD at UW-Stevens Point and hired
then-assistant UIC coach Mazzoleni.)  While he doesn't have the
longevity that some of the others do, he is more than capable of taking
a newly-elevated program and making the most of its potential.
