There are generally two records that are recognized.
 
The modern record is held by RPI, 38 games (36-0-2) from 1984-85 through
1985-86.  <snip, snip>  The all-time record is held by Dartmouth, 46 games
(45-0-1) from 1941-42 through 1945-46.
 
...CC... will play a total of 35 regular season games this year.

What about the playoffs?  Assuming the NC$$ is using the same scheme as
last year, CC could play 2 1st round, 2 2nd round, and 2 final four games,
So if they go all the way this year, wouldn't that mean an extra six wins,
bringing their streak to a modern record of 41?
