The Clarkson University Golden Knights had an excellent weekend of hockey
playing against HE schools.  Missing, full details, Clarkson beat BC 4-2
on Friday night, with Dana Mulvihill scoring two of the goals.  On Saturday,
many who heard the game say that goalie Dan Murphy played one of his best
games to date, as the team skated to a 4-4 tie with BU.  BU was up 2-1 at
the end of two and took a 3-1 lead before Clarkson scored 3 straight goals
to go up by 1.  Clarkson's Josh Bartell took a late 2 minute penalty with
4 minutes to play, and BU scored on that power play to make it a 4-4 game.
 
Maybe now, the Golden Knights will finally get some recoginition and move up
in the polls.  They have played tough competition all year (Denver, BG, BU)
and have done quite well, with an opportunity to win each game.  Not bad for
a team that lost a great deal of experience and talent last year.
 
This weekend, CU stays at home to host RPI on Friday and Union on Saturday.
