According to the BC radio broadcasters on AM890, Greg Taylor suffered a
"slight concussion" in the collision with Lovell. They had no more
details but expressed the thought that the injury might be less severe
than it appeared. With concussions, who knows? The broadcasters also
said that Taylor was spectacular in goal for BC up to that point (how
many goalies get 2nd star of game while only playing 33 minutes?)
Freshman Mike Correia got the relief duty for BC and played reasonably
well, or so they said. Correia also got charged by Reg Cardinal in the
early 3rd period, and the speculation was that BC coach Jerry York was
not pleased. Interestingly, the radio comments indicated that Shawn
Walsh was even more displeased than York.
